The Riviera del Brenta is one of the most beautiful and visited river routes in Europe. It deserves to be traveled, as well as for its naturalistic aspect, above all for the numerous Venetian Villas that mark the different paths. The Riviera del Brenta can be visited by following many cycle paths, with different levels of difficulty and length. All cycle paths cross the provinces of Padua and Venice, giving those who decide to follow them a unique sporting and cultural experience.
In addition to the villas, the Riviera del Brenta offers nature lovers unique itineraries along the banks of the river. Riding your bicycle, you can discover the most hidden and precious corners, such as the splendid setting of the southern Lagoon of Mira.
There are many routes that allow you to visit the villas, palaces and landscapes along the Riviera del Brenta by bicycle. One of the most characteristic is the one that reaches the Lagoon using the “low” road (less busy than SR 11) which runs along the canal. This itinerary also allows the discovery of less known but no less important villas such as Villa Fattoretto Badoer, Villa Bon Tessier and Villa Tito. Finally, by bicycle it is also possible to reach the islands of Lido di Venezia or Pellestrina thanks to a ferry boat service with regular departures from Tronchetto (Venice).
